I am a 39 year old divorced mother of 2 in DIRE need to surgery to repair a ventricular septal defect (hol in the ventricular wall). I have become symptomatic and need the surgery before pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) and damage to the heart valves occur. Because of this defect I am uninsurable.
